動的解法の分類線形解法は通常公有地計算を行い，この結果をベースに周波数領域で計算を行う．非線形動解析は直接時間積分を行い時間領域で解を求める．
- 線形動解析
  - 固有値解析 (Mu'' + Ku = 0)
  - 線形過渡応答解析
  - 周波数応答解析
  - ランダム応答解析
- 非線形動解析
  - 動的陽解法
  - 陰的時間積分法(Newmark-β法)

過渡応答解析の種類
- 1) 線形過渡応答解析線形問題ではこれが決定版．モード重ね合わせ法．
  - 固有値解析の結果を用いて，振動モードの重ね合わせで過渡応答を計算する.
  - 時間積分法よりも超高速に計算可能
  - 線形解析のみ(接触などの非線形解析には不適切)
  - オープンソース：CodeAster?, Calculix..

2) 動的陽解法(Explicit Dynamics): 衝突解析，加工などの要素変形大解析
- 中心差分法により時間積分(逆剛性マトリックス計算不要)
- オープンソース：Impact, Adventure/Impact

3) 陰的時間積分法(Implicit Dynamics): 地震応答，非線形応答
- Newmarkβ法, WilsonΘ法により，直接時間積分を解く(逆剛性マトリックス計算不要)
- オープンソース：COdeAster?, Calculix, FrontISTR..
